House Foods Shiso Ume Pickled Plum and Perilla Paste Tube 40g
House Foods' Shiso Ume paste brings together the fruity tartness of Kishu Nanko-ume — one of Japan's most prized pickled plum varieties — with the herbal fragrance of red perilla and a subtle texture from finely chopped pickled cucumber. The result is a paste with layers of flavour: sharp, salty, and floral at once, with a mild, well-rounded finish. It is a classic Japanese condiment for onigiri and ochazuke, and works equally well spread on chilled tofu, used as a dipping sauce for grilled chicken, or stirred through cold soba noodles. The 40g tube is easy to keep in the fridge and use a little at a time.
