Kikkoman Stay-Fresh Bottle Chef's Recipe Ultimate White Dashi Sauce 450ml
White dashi — shiro dashi — is one of those Japanese kitchen staples that is hard to replicate once you know what it does. Lighter in colour than regular soy sauce-based dashi, it seasons without darkening, letting the natural colours of ingredients come through in a way that feels deliberate and refined. Kikkoman's Kiwami Shiro Dashi draws on seven Japanese dashi ingredients — frigate tuna, bonito, tuna, sardine, kelp, scallop and shiitake — all sourced from Japan, and uses a chef-inspired extraction method to draw out their full depth.
A small amount goes a long way. It works in chawanmushi, dashi-maki tamago, udon broth, simmered dishes and vegetable seasoning, keeping everything clean-tasting and well-balanced without overwhelming the dish.
The sealed eco-bottle keeps freshness for 90 days after opening at room temperature, making it practical for regular home use without waste.
