Sowakajuen Nomu Mikan Arida Mandarin Orange 100% Straight Juice 180ml
Details
Sowakajuen's Nomu Mikan — "Drinking Mandarin" — is exactly what its name suggests: 100% Arida mandarin juice with nothing added and nothing taken away. Arida in Wakayama Prefecture has a history of over 450 years as one of Japan's most celebrated mandarin-growing regions, and Sowakajuen is a farmer-led producer based there who have been working directly with the fruit since 1979. What makes this juice unusual is the pressing method: the outer peel is removed by hand before juicing, and the fruit is then pressed through a fine mesh three times using a chopper-pulper technique. This keeps the bitter oils of the peel entirely out of the juice, while drawing the flavour-rich fibre from the inner membranes through — the result is a juice that is silky and naturally thick, clean-tasting right to the finish, and remarkably close to eating the fruit itself. No concentrate, no additives, no water added — just mandarin, pressed well.
