Higashimaru Oyster Dashi Soy Sauce 400ml
Higashimaru's Oyster Dashi Soy Sauce is built around the umami of true oysters from the Setouchi Sea (Harima-nada), combined with a dashi of bonito and kombu to create a soy sauce with a remarkable depth and roundness that ordinary shoyu cannot match. It uses a blend of usukuchi (light-coloured) soy sauce, which allows the natural colours of ingredients to show through while keeping the salt level 25% lower than a standard koikuchi soy sauce. The airtight double-structure bottle preserves the flavour for up to 90 days after opening without refrigeration. A versatile everyday soy sauce that works equally well drizzled over cold tofu, used as a dipping sauce, or as a base for simmered dishes.
