The same Niji no Kirameki from Ibaraki Prefecture that WASO directly imports — now in a musenmai (pre-washed) format that removes the need to rinse the rice before cooking. Musenmai has had the surface bran removed through a dedicated milling process, which means it can go straight from the bag into the rice cooker with water and be cooked immediately, without the rinsing step that standard white rice requires. It is particularly practical for households that cook rice daily and want to save a little time at each meal, and it uses less water overall. The flavour and texture of the rice itself are unchanged: the same beautiful lustre when cooked, the same firm, well-defined grain with a refined sweetness and a deep, lingering umami that Niji no Kirameki is known for. Carefully selected and directly imported by the WASO team, including Head Chef Hideki Hiwatashi. The competitive price is made possible by WASO's direct sourcing — with absolutely no compromise on quality. If the product is vacuum-sealed, the seal may come undone due to impact during shipping. The package design may also differ, but the contents and quality are identical.
