A Cantonese-style spice salt from Koon Yick Wah Kee, the Hong Kong condiment maker established in Sai Kung in 1951 and best known in the city as the 'King of Chilli Sauce'. The blend is salt aromatised with Sichuan peppercorn, star anise and Chinese cinnamon - savoury and gently warming, with the tingling lift that gives Cantonese 椒鹽 dishes their character. Shake over fried tofu, fried prawns, fried chicken and crisp-skinned roast meats as a finishing or dipping salt, or stir into batters and marinades. 42g glass shaker, sized for the dining table.
