Kaki no Tane — literally "persimmon seeds" — are one of Japan's most enduring snack formats: small, crescent-shaped rice crackers with a satisfying crunch and a bold savoury seasoning, typically enjoyed alongside peanuts. This Ume Shiso variety is seasoned with dried plum flesh from Kishu Nanko-ume, one of Japan's most prized plum varieties, along with the fragrant, herbal note of red perilla. The result is a bright, tangy flavour with a clean finish that sets it apart from the standard soy sauce variety. Six individually portioned packs per bag make it easy to share or save for later.
