Mamegen Wasabi Daizu (Wasabi Soya Beans)
Crafted by Mamegen — a long-established confectioner founded in 1865 in Azabu-Juban, Tokyo — making the most of the bean's natural flavour. Crunchy, satisfyingly crisp soya beans are carefully coated in a batter seasoned with dashi soy sauce and wasabi. Behind the sharp kick of wasabi spreads the mellow savouriness of dashi soy sauce. Made with domestic, non-GMO Japanese soya beans. A moreish treat that goes wonderfully with green tea, as well as beer or sake.
Ingredients
Soybeans (domestic Japan; non-GMO), kanbai-ko (glutinous rice flour), wheat flour, sugar, starch, emulsified seasoning, soy sauce, salt, nori seaweed, hydrolysed starch, kombu (kelp) extract, wasabi powder / seasoning (amino acids, etc.), raising agent, spices, acidulant. Contains wheat and soy.
