OK Food Chunaga Abura-age Fried Tofu Slices 3 pieces
Abura-age is a staple of Japanese cooking — thin slices of pressed tofu that have been deep-fried twice to create a light, porous texture with a golden exterior. OK Food has been a leading specialist in abura-age production in Japan since 1967, and their Chunaga variety is a versatile long-cut style suited to a wide range of dishes. The open, spongy structure absorbs stock, miso broth, and seasonings readily, making it an ideal addition to miso soup, simmered dishes, and stir-fries. It can also be opened into a pouch and stuffed with sushi rice to make inari-zushi. Three slices per pack, supplied frozen.
