WASO Air-Flown Fresh Shine Muscat Grape from Nagano 1 Bunch
Details
A single bunch of Shine Muscat from Nagano Prefecture, air-freighted directly from Japan and available fresh at WASO in London. Nagano is one of Japan's leading prefectures for premium table grapes, where the cool mountain climate and significant difference between daytime and night-time temperatures during the ripening season allow the grapes to develop their full sweetness and flavour with exceptional clarity. Shine Muscat — developed in Japan and released in 2006 — is now considered one of the finest table grape varieties in the world: large, oval, pale green to golden-yellow berries that are entirely seedless, with a thin skin that is pleasant to eat without peeling. The flesh is crisp and firm, with a clean, pronounced muscat fragrance and a natural sweetness that is rich without being cloying. Because the skin is edible and the berries are seedless, the whole grape can be eaten in a single bite. Best served well-chilled, directly from the bunch. Each bunch arrives as fresh as the flight allows, air-freighted directly from Japan to your table.
