Details
Yamaki is one of Japan's most established katsuobushi producers, and this Satsuma Katsuobushi Dashi is a granulated dashi seasoning built around bonito flakes made in the Satsuma region of Kagoshima — a part of Japan with a long tradition of bonito fishing and processing that is still recognised as producing some of the finest katsuobushi in the country. The seasoning uses 100% Satsuma-made katsuobushi powder alongside konbu powder, delivering a clean, rounded dashi flavour that is easy to use in miso soup, simmered dishes and everyday Japanese cooking. Each sachet contains 4g, with one gram enough to season approximately one cup of miso soup. Free from all 28 Japanese designated allergens — including fish — making it an unusually inclusive dashi option.
Ingredients
Salt (manufactured in Japan), glucose, flavouring ingredients (bonito flake powder, kelp powder), hydrolysed protein / flavour enhancer (amino acids, etc.).
Allergy
Fish
