To celebrate the 1st anniversary of WASO Hong Kong, WASO has partnered with Hong Kong brand Okaeri (おかえり) to launch a limited-edition Hong Kong Style Milk Tea Roll, delicately bringing the familiar flavours of a Hong Kong cha chaan teng into a light and fluffy handmade cake.
“Okaeri” means “welcome home” in Japanese. The brand is dedicated to creating carefully handcrafted Asian pastries that bring warmth and comfort to every customer. This 1st anniversary limited-edition roll highlights the rich, full-bodied flavour of Hong Kong-style milk tea, with just the right level of sweetness and layers of flavour that remain light and not overly rich.
※ The roll cake comes with three flavours of French feuilletine crunch: Condensed milk and butter toast, Yuen Yeung(brewed coffee and milk tea) and Milk Tea. Each adds a different flavour and crisp texture, giving the roll cake even more depth and variety.

Whipping cream (MILK), EGGS, milk tea paste [black tea infusion (water, black tea), whipping cream (MILK), evaporated milk (MILK), sweetened condensed milk (whole MILK, sugar, skimmed MILK), sugar], WHEAT flour, whole MILK, sugar, soybean oil (SOYA), icing sugar, feuilletine (WHEAT flour, sugar, concentrated butter (MILK) 8%, MILK sugar, MILK proteins, salt, malt extract (BARLEY), raising agent: sodium bicarbonate; may contain SOYA), white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole MILK powder, emulsifier: lecithins (SOYA), natural vanilla flavouring), butter (MILK), MILK powder, black tea powder, gelatine, instant coffee, salt.
