Noritamago — literally "seaweed and egg" — is one of Japan's most beloved furikake varieties, and Futaba's version has been a household staple for decades. The blend combines crispy nori flakes with egg yolk powder, white sesame, and shaved bonito for a rounded, savoury flavour that makes plain rice instantly more satisfying. The texture is light and slightly crisp, and the flavour is mild enough to work just as well on onigiri, noodles, and salads as it does on a simple bowl of steamed rice. A small jar goes a long way, and the glass shaker format makes it easy to keep on the table and use a little at a time.
