A mini-format block of nama-imo konjac from Nishiki, made in Nishiki-cho, Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture — a region with a long history of konjac production. This version is made from 100% raw (nama-imo) Japanese-grown konjac potato at 27.51%, a noticeably higher concentration than most commercial konnyaku, which gives it a firmer, more substantial texture and a more pronounced natural konjac character than products made from processed flour alone. No pre-boiling to remove bitterness is required. The 147g mini block (130g drained) is a practical single- or double-serving size — small enough to use in a single meal without leftovers. Drain and rinse before use, then slice, tear by hand, or cut into shapes to suit the dish. It performs well in oden, nimono, sukiyaki, and stir-fries, and holds its shape through long, slow cooking without breaking down.
