Details
A Hong Kong cha chaan teng icon: thick slices of bread coated in egg and cooked until golden and crisp at the edges, with a soft, custardy centre. Served the classic way with a pat of butter melting on top and a drizzle of sweet golden syrup. Rich, comforting and unmistakably Hong Kong, it makes an indulgent breakfast or an any-time sweet treat you can enjoy at home.
