Tonami Shoyu Yuzu Kosho Green Yuzu and Chilli Paste 50g
Yuzu kosho is a traditional Japanese condiment made by fermenting yuzu citrus zest with green chilli and salt — a combination that produces a paste of remarkable complexity, balancing heat, citrus fragrance, and a natural savoury depth in just three ingredients. Tonami Shoyu's version uses yuzu at 55% and salted green chilli at 32%, keeping the formula clean and the yuzu character clearly present. The heat is immediate but not overwhelming, with the floral, tart aroma of the yuzu carrying through to the finish. A small amount goes a long way — it lifts grilled fish, chicken, tofu, and noodles with a single spoonful, and works well stirred into broth, dressings, or sour cream.
